Abita Blues debut album, Louisiana Crude is a dirty blues portrait of down and out characters, late night odysseys, and Louisiana Crude, in every sense of the word.

From folksy, acoustic blues to wash board grit, Louisiana Crude is a tribute to southern back yards, bars, ditches, and bathroom walls.

Pic from last night at the open mic at the Beach House in Mandeville, LA. Great place for music - has a great vibe. The room they used for open mic had nice acoustics. Looking forward to playing there again soon.

Songwriters Festival in New Orleans

Looking forward to the Songwriters Festival in New Orleans this week. We will play a few songs at the open mic this Thursday at the Howlin Wolf, New Orleans.
